After imaging Jupiter and Saturn, I decided to create a mosaic of the Moon.

For my first time, I've made a Moon mosaic for the second consecutive morning. The Moon was slightly farther away compared to the previous morning.

The Moon's slow wobble has put features on the eastern limb in a good position to see. From north to south, Mare Marginis, Mare Smythii, and Mare Australe are visible near the limb.

After seeing how bright the sky was while imaging nearby Saturn, I decided to image the source of the light, the nearly full Moon, for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch.

Notes:
